Nice video. I liked that your build was not a live stream and you did not show every little sccrew being installed.
My son is 10 just bought himself one please pray for me.
anyone watching it in 2024? I just installed it (v3) on CR10s pro V1. Initially I did not put the jumper because in other videos they did not put it, but this is indeed the definitive guide. I followed the steps in the video including the jumper and changing the order of the cables and it worked! Thank you so much :)
About all that poopie purge waste, I've learned that there are more things one can do to get the purged waste down to almost zero. Close.... at least. - There is a special purge high retraction option. What that does, is instead of leaving all that filament in that long path in the nozzle, that gets purged out, it retracts LOTS leaving only a tiny amount to be purged. - Another option, is to use the feature to use purge for infill. Depending on % of infill, this can help a little to a lot. - This other option is my favorite and that is, you set up a "purge tower." It's suggested to use a part that you don't care what color it is. Something like, perhaps, a part that is hidden in your project, for example. This part is printed when the purge happens, using the purge materials. This reduces poop to almost zero. Perhaps a few bunny drops. LOL - There's also an option where you can just turn purging off! You'd use this if you are ok with the color changes being gradual as the filaments change. Not good where you need sharp, defined changes, however. But it's an option and also leads to zero or close to zero purging waste. I like this printer and have been considering it, but for me, the deal breaker is the monochrome display. That's just Bambu cheaping out. They have a nice color screen on their cheaper printer! Go figure. I've seen a lot of complaints about this stupid decision. People want color, not monochrome! It's not the year 2000 anymore! Sure, there are a couple of 3rd party options, but they aren't so impressive as yet. Perhaps, Bambu will *LISTEN TO THEIR CUSTOMERS AND POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS* and start using nice, very colorful displays. In reality, color displays are NOT more expensive that monochrome ones.... not anymore! In fact, as monochrome is used less and less, those will become more expensive due to supply and demand. The Creality K1 Max has a really nice color and larger display. IT CAN BE DONE!
❤❤❤ I love 3d printing from srilanka And what is name of this printer
...
Buying soon, does it always come with filament or was it a kit
How do you use a .stl file?
Omg yaaayyy ❤
That v400 is turned way down. it can print so much faster LOL.
I just got mine today. Could not get filament to advance out of the ARM. I got it into the initial opening but seems to get stuck before exiting out the back into the PTFE tube
2 years later, you can get a printer that is as good and as fast for 1/5th the price.
I dont know what i did wrong but the usb models all say "This model does not match the printer"
LOOL
Run Jaron, Runnnnnnn!!!
don't do this! the thermistor needs to have a wrench on it or else you'll break the solder joints on the thermistor and heater. this guy just ruined his printer.
I'm looking at upgrading from my Anet ET4 to the P1S Combo, can I replace the print bed for glass?
Theoretically, you could, I might not recommend it though. Stick with the PEI build plate that comes with the machine and I am sure you will find it to be a nice upgrade from glass!
Please don't mention glass. LOL I've had my printer for around 5 years now (or so). The glass bed that came with it is textured and in the first week, not knowing what I was doing, the nozzle gouged a deep line into the texture material. I didn't like the texture anyway as I wanted my projects to print, face down on smooth glass for a shiny, solid look. So I bought a solid clear glass for it. It was 400x400. No issues for years. Then, 3 days ago, I needed to print something small for a project I'm working on, so I got the color filament that I needed and tried to put it on the top rail on the roller bearing holders I made. I do this all the time, BUT, this time, I noticed that the nuts, holding one of the guide rollers had fallen off. Now the guide was loose. I went to remove the spool so that I could add new nuts and my hand slipped, the spool went flying backward, down onto the glass bed and SMASH!!!! So to do any printing, I had to go back to my old, original texture glass bed. On the opposite side of the gouge, the texture there was inconsistent. But I realized, that was caused by the glue stick or hair spray that I tried to use back then. With some 99% alcohol, letting it soak for a while, I was able to restore that side to new again. So, I'm at least back up and running.
Just wondering what firmware you are using because I just bought an ender 3 and didn’t show the prepare option
Hello I’m new to 3d printing and got an ender 3 v1 as my first printer built it fine but then at 3:53 you said to click the knob and go down to prepare however I do not have that option also the board is a v4.2.2 if that helps Hope you can help me , thanks
I had no idea there was a spring action. Thank you for sharing.
Palcami? Przecież potrzebny jest klucz. To jest mocno dokręcone.
Are there any 3D printer shows happening in Toronto?
Do I have to level the bed prior to any printing or just before first use?
Unhelpful. Difficult to see anything to the point that the video isn’t useful. Also skipped over things. Not a first print beginner video
Its black not blue
i have a ams with mine and i cant get it to feed
Maia is such a great host, we should get her on the channel again! What a beautiful birdhouse, great work you two 🤙
I received my filament order today, thank you! That was fast!! 👍👍
Bought one, used it a few times and then it just stopped working. :(
The fucking door knob was sooo fucking annoying also I only got 3 rubber feet instead of 4....
Excellent tutorial for setting up from scratch - something that most reviewers just gloss over as "not sexy/interesting". Well done!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the review!
Why not share where you are?
you damn kukubird
In my D9 bed's temp sensor cable is shorter than the bed's power cable, so when bed moves through the calibration, the temp sensor cable is pulled off of it's socket on the PCB!
I don’t know what I’m doing wrong 😭. I’ve watched this video close to one hundred times and all the set up is the same and it claims to be the same mode but not every things is reading the same in the little selectee area in the corner. Like everything is close or exact to what his is but certain things are different like my test print is a cat not a dog and my atomic temps are 200 and 60 for the bed. Now whenever I try to print something the filament goes everywhere and won’t stay still like it’s not hot enough and cools as soon as it comes out of the nozzle. I’ve tried close to everything and this video was the closest thing I could find if anyone know what is wrong or can lead me to a video with the step by step instructions for my printer (also a ender 3) please help 🙏.
It must now have worked as the page for the parts is not found. Sounds like scam
Please quit saying vernier calipers. They are digital calipers. Being a machinist and quality manager the hardware upgrade would appear to be more robust and possibly better but being new to printing I would like to see the machine working and the yield from the update. Now if I was going to throw 1000$ to upgrade I would just buy a bigger better machine.

But how do you remove the figure from the plate? Any tips?
Fyi, this upgrade kit is not compatible with the Creality S1 Plus Sprite extruder. Only the S1 and S1 Pro. I have this confirmation from E3D support, email. Laurie. NZ. 😊
Thank you for a detailed review my friend. Buying the p1s as we speak and the blockage guidance is something that I've never seen explained before. Thanks from the uk.
That is low key stealing. Yes, you get the money back after you return the cart, but do you get a coin back or the plastic coin back?
When you put the coin into the cart it doesn’t take the coin and give you a new one. Once you return the cart you get the same coin back that you originally put in. The 3D printed cart coins stay attached to my keychain the whole time so once I am done shopping I take the 3d printed cart coin back and I can reuse it for next time! If you would like a demonstration feel free to let me know!
Great video, to the point with no fluff like I like it. I'm considering getting an AMS for my printer also. If I remember right a while back I think bambu Labs recommends not using cardboard spools for the AMS. Have you had any trouble with using cardboard spools? I'm asking this because all of my filaments that I've used the last 2 years are on cardboard spools. Thanks!
If the cardboard spool is damaged it could cause issues rolling, otherwise it works fine. Make sure the size of the spool fits the AMS.
@@3DPrintingCanada Ok, thanks for the reply, do you have any problems with your printer disconnecting from your network constantly? I've had my P1S for 2 weeks and it disconnected every 15 minutes requiring me to retype the pin in each time to reconnect it. I'm thinking it could be a firmware issue. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Have a great day!
did he say "corduroy" vent tube?? lol I think he meant to say corrugated??
Please don't use the now cliché negative hook click bait video titles, it insults your viewers intelligence.
I feel like I dodged a bullet. I ordered this but canceled it before the shipping date
Gonna be honest... Took me from 7pm - 2am, but by God, with your help I was able to complete this.... 5 years after you made this vid man. I appreciate this video as all get out
I have a CR-10S Pro V1 but i put a BL touch on it long time ago. I had to 3d print the bracket. It still works but i like the direction that one mounted. I just had to change out my bl touch. I had to pull off everything on the x axis to get the screws out of the back before i could lift my bltouch out. any chance they sell that bracket? i bet that would fit my pro
Excellent job on assembly. Thank you so much, on to the enclosure assembly 😂
What app are you using to get the 3d model up on the mat again?
